I am not 100% convinced about the drums and parts of the backing track: it sounds to me like Halaka is trying to be more of a down to earth rock band, in parts, and I feel the performance needs to be tighter sometimes in order for that to be a completely successful venture.
But aside from that, there's some awesome stuff going on with those vocals! wow, that's impressive stuff, and overall this is a good cover!

Embrace the kick drum, hug the kick drum, caress it, Walloped. Yeah those backing vocals are pretty cool, and there are just enough electrics, at just the right amount of slidey feedbackiness. That lead vocal, texture x 10, as though you had gargled w/ sand infused bourbon. and i've prattled on long enough, good show.

real melodic integration of a symbiotic electric rlationship is what this is.
this is a really inspiring, dawn of a schizophrenic recovery kind of tune.
great job, this is going on my desktop for a while.

I've listened to this a few times now, and just listened to the original and came back to hear this again.
Overall, on first hearing it, this sounds like a more straight-ahead cover than I'd normally expect from you guys. However, on closer inspection, it has a lot of great subtle touches, some of your trademarks and some other things that make it clear that this could only be Halaka. This also reaches emotional depths that the original hinted at but didn't quite reach.
I like the drums a lot. The tape manipulation is well-placed, and I love the distant distorted electric guitar parts. The vocal harmonies are great, and the bell part was unexpected in the best kind of way.
The parts that really get me are where it goes quiet at the end of a section and then comes in stronger than before. Wow, that's powerful.

This is Halaka? Ah yeah, that slight scratchiness in the vox when you get into the higher ranges that I love so much about your voice - there we go. Freakin' incredible mix. What a treat.

The vocals make this piece. Lindqvist or however you spell 'is name makes a good point. This is pretty straight-forward, so its calling for a slightly tighter, maybe more energetic performance to really impress, but the unique and emotional vox win me over nevertheless. Nice feedback!

I do like the kick drum. The backup vocals at the end make this track. And the lead vocals of course.

I haven't heard the original, but this is great. I'm sure it does it justice.
The way the drums change is my lovely pink summer dress that I never wear because I can't do it as nice as others. Like yous guys's can.
Those backups in the vocals are great.
Guitar stuff is awesome too. The sliding. I like that leady slidy whatyahave it!

kind of "Spiders from Mars'ish" but that is epic in my book...

Lovely vocals... sweet in some spots, and spooky in others. Seems to walk a fine line between the world weary spirit of "Wish You Were Here", and German space rock experimentation.
I think this should be labelled as an import.

I love the things going on in the third layer. The third layer squeals like something that should bawl. The acoustic guitars have the right edge of presence on them. The percussion is extremely well down. Sometimes leading and sometimes laying back, but always the play maker for this tune. The tune drives when it has to and becomes introspective when it wants to. The vocal chorus is ! But that third layer is like the unseen eye ...
